17. There is so much more to sing.

I'll include the cities under which you quietly flow, And ancient city walls that watch you pass. I'll include those defences built in troubled times, Once camps, now store-houses since Belgium is at peace.
I'll include those prosperous farmers on either shore, And you between the labours of ox and man, Kissing the shores, cutting between rich fields.
